400 BUBBLES FOR AN EXHIBITION AT ARCHIVIO RACHELE BIANCHI
Words can turn into images, and images, through words, can reveal just how fleeting and powerful language can be in contemporary society. This reflection lies at the heart of “Sono Solo Parole” – “They’re just Words”, Valeria Canavesi’s solo exhibition hosted by Archivio Rachele Bianchi and curated by Giorgio Uberti.
At Dulcop, we chose to be part of the opening of this story with the most powerful, beautiful and fleeting thing we know how to create: our soap bubbles.
An exhibition exploring the fate of words
Valeria Canavesi’s exhibition project stems from a reflection on the way words move through contemporary society.
Through poetic texts, experimentation with materials and traditional printing techniques, the artist transforms words into physical works that are both fragile and powerful.
A delicate balance that immediately reminded us of something we know very well.
When a soap bubble becomes a work of art
Among the works on display is one entitled “Bolle di Sapone” “Soap Bubbles”.
A coincidence that felt almost like an invitation.
Because a soap bubble is exactly that: something light, something that lasts only for a moment, yet finds its strength precisely in its fragility and in its ability to inspire wonder.
That is why we decided to become part of the project ourselves: Dulcop will create 400 customized Bubble World soap bubbles, designed especially for the occasion. They will be given to guests at the opening on 16 September and to visitors throughout the exhibition.
Words, bubbles and moments worth experiencing
This is not the first time Bubble World soap bubbles have stepped beyond their most familiar setting to enter into dialogue with art and culture.
But this collaboration with Archivio Rachele Bianchi has a particularly special meaning: Valeria Canavesi’s words and our bubbles, each in their own way, express the same precious idea.
That beautiful things are often fleeting. And that this is exactly why they are worth stopping for, looking at and experiencing — even if only for a moment.
